It appears that Chloe has reached the age where she will begin(and continue) to rapidly outgrow things. Earlier this summer we found out one of those things was her bike! She may have used her previous bike only a handful of times and potentially our Oregon trip was the most in service it ever was. This summer(a few weeks back) we pulled out the bikes and dusted them off only to find out that Chloe was literally hitting her knees on the handlebars. I did some research and started looking for a decent condition, 2nd hand bike available locally. Ultimately after some messages exchanged with sellers, I decided on spending a little bit more on a new bike that would suit her better(at least for the next 2-3 years it fits her, lol). I did get a really good deal on Amazon(long story) so it all worked out well in the end. It arrived earlier this week and Chloe actually helped me put it together. It comes mostly assembled in a giant box but with a few supplied tools and couple turns of a wrench, it was on the road in no time.
My hope here is that we can now get in some nice bike rides while the weather allows for it. It's just another thing we can do. =)
Just a few pics to share as Chloe has opted to ride the new bike each day while I walked the dog. Just a few short weeks before school starts, make the best of em!
Have a great weekend, folks~

Almost forgot! This year, the "Hot Summer Nights" car shows are held on Sunday morning(s). LOL. The first event happened last Sunday so we spent some time checking out the cars before snagging the usual photo of Chloe with Grandpa and his car!
