Fathers Day + The Arrival Of Summer - Jun 24

Yep, and there it is. This last weekend was Fathers Day which coincidentally fell on my Dad's birthday this year. That means it was approximately 2 years ago when Heather and I returned from our trip to Hawaii and told my parents that Heather was pregnant. It's something I'll never forget because I found literally the perfect card, and my mom had the over the top reaction I knew she would. Three years later I am on my 2nd fathers day as a dad and having a blast. =)
Also this week marks the beginning of summer. It has been hot as heck all week so I had a Chloe sized pool professionally installed in our back yard. The weather was hot, the water was cold, and Chloe LOVED it. I'm sure we'll see plenty of pool time this summer but this should do the trick on those random hot days, lol. Have a great weekend!

Road Trip! - Jun 17

This week was Heather's birthday..Monday, actually. Everyone wish Heather a Happy Birthday!! =) Last weekend we made the trek town to San Diego to go visit a few of our friends down there. While we were there we managed to swing right by Disneyland(but didn't go in), introduced Chloe to the Beach(2x) which she LOVED and could not get enough of AAAAND went to the San Diego zoo. We did a lot and had a lot of fun visiting friends so all in all, a fun little get away! Here are just a few pics from our trip. Have a great weekend!

(80's) Hair Band - Jun 10

By the time you read this we should be on our way to San Diego! Heather's birthday is on Monday so she took some time off work and we are headed down to hang out for a few days with some of our friends who live down there. Last time we went Chloe was just 3 months old and we went down for a friends wedding...she slept most of the way down but this time we have no idea how it's going to go. A full day in the car we can only hope DVD's and Heather's jokes will keep Chloe in good spirits. LOL.
We have tons of stuff to do so I'll make this short..Chloe just passed the 17 month mark this week and here are some pics from the weeks events. Finally getting some nicer weather! We'll all be complaining soon enough that it's to dang hot. =)

ABB-EY! - Jun 3

Chloe, LOVES Abbey. She's been able to say her name for a while now but almost every morning when she wakes up I walk in there she's standing in(jumping in) the crib and points to Abbey while saying "ABB-EY! ABB-EY!" It's cute. This last week Heather was off for Memorial Day so we took the opportunity to take Chloe to the San Ramon Art and Wind Festival. We haven't been in a few years so we figured it would be fun to go with Chloe. She was FREAKING OUT over all the balloons, dogs, kids, you name it! Of course we got her a balloon, she even made it into a bouncy house thing. Fun! We'll be back next year I'm sure.
