Let's Go Fly A Kite! - Apr 26

We get some pretty good wind up where we live and now that it's back to staying light outside late and the weather is nicer Chloe is in heaven. We have made a several trips to the park and pretty sure it won't be long until we find ourselves in a swimming pool. It doesn't seem like April you would say that but last Monday I think it was every bit of 90 degrees outside. Anyway, when Heather gets home from work pretty much every day Chloe comes outside and they have one of any number of things they will play while dinner is cooking. Once of Chloe's favorite things is to fly this kite(which if memory serves was something she got from Heathers Aunt & Uncle a year or more ago) but it's not always windy enough to do it. Luckily, Chloe understands that you need to wind to fly a kite but on the other hand when it's windy you can bet she is asking to fly that sucker, lol. Anyway, I trailed along with my camera on this weeks maiden voyage and snapped some pics. Like most things, Chloe completely surprised me with how well she knew what to do..tugging the string to get it to fly higher and walking/running backwards. Like a total pro. =)

Camera Day - Apr 19

I know what you are thinking and you would be correct. Every day around here is camera day. DUH.
Well, actually this week at gymnastics class it was "camera day" so parents and grandparents alike flocked at the opportunity to take pictures with their camera phones and ipads. Actually, to my surprise there were parents that had actual "cameras" but i swear there was one that was using an ipad. I don't get that. Big giant screen, terrible camera. lol.
I brought my camera and decided since Chloe has been in the class for a while now by herself and basically no longer needs my help to complete the circuit I would just follow her around and take some documentary style photos as much as possible. Trying something different because hey, why not? Have a nice weekend~

Cashews - Apr 12

Just another week here in paradise lol and somehow we are almost halfway through April which is insane to me. I made my typical run to Costco this week and seemingly stumbled upon something that Chloe really likes. Cashews. This kid I swear she can be a super picky eater and then every once in a while she will surprise us and just try new stuff. The last few days every time she's hungry and wants some kind of a snack she's like "Daddy can we eat some CASHEWS?!" Then I get a big smile and she runs into the kitchen only to return holding this big ass jar of Cashews. LOL. This kid.

It's Easter Time! Apr 5

Well, big week around here haha! Sunday of course was Easter and on Monday it was April Fools Day sometimes better knows as my birthday! To a 3 year old, Easter is a completely foreign concept however Chloe does understand that she will probably get an Easter basket with some goodies..and she likes hiding/finding eggs so as long as those two things happen, she's happy. =) We spent the morning playing hide and find the easter eggs in our living room because it wasn't very nice outside, lol.

On Monday my drivers licence expired and I officially turned 34 years old. It's crazy because lately I have gotten back into racing R/C cars and I keep telling people "yeah I used to do this when I was like 14 and my parents had to drop us off at the track" which only recently did I realise that was TWENTY YEARS AGO. I think it sort of means you are getting old when you can casually slip into a conversation something that happened 20 years ago and then realise you might be talking to a person that wasn't even alive 20 years ago. OLD!! Anyway, it was pretty much a typical Monday around here except we all went out to a steak dinner at Cattlemans. We ordered Chloe a kids meal with some kind of mini corn dogs and french fries and while she did eat some of it..she was more interested in Heather's prime rib! LOL. Chloe is a picky eater but for whatever reason she loves steak. That's my girl! Hope you have a great weekend, folks.
