YO-YO! - Jul 28

Last week Heather took Chloe to Target..and if you don't love Target then you are not my friend. Right when you walk in they have this whole section of stuff that's like $1 so Heather found some flash cards and some magnets that were letters of the alphabet and numbers. I was showing the cards to Chloe and when we got to the letter "Y" I flipped it over and there was a picture of a yo-yo. Since I said that, all week long Chloe has been walking around going "YO YO!, YO YO!" Kind of reminds me of my friend Shannon..that's how she answers the phone every time I call their house. Next time I call I'm gonna put Chloe on so they can YO YO each other. =)

Came inside and because the next door neighbor's place is getting a new roof put on it sounded like a warzone in her room(which is about 20 feet from the neighbor) so I put her on the couch. Hey,safety first.




She now likes to throw the ball to Abbey..even though Abbey is old she still loves to play ball(and that pink ball is as old as she is)

Pixieland - Jul 22

Trippy right? Last weekend we went with Heather's family to this place out in Concord called Pixieland. I never even knew this place existed but it's a little amusement park with rides and games for kids..pretty cool! Chloe wasn't really big enough yet to do anything alone and we were worried there wouldn't be anything for her to do..but there were several things she could do so long as we went with her. She LOOOOVED the merry-go-round. At first she was scared of it.."OFF!" "OFF!" she kept saying while clinging to me. Then once it started, smile ear to ear and when it was over..."MOOORE!" "MOOOORE!" HA!
The first time we rode it I noticed this horse with the name "Heather" so that's the one we chose. It wasn't until after someone pointed out the horse directly next to "Heather" was named "Chloe"! What are the odds? =)

Finally broke down and got Chloe her own little water table (from Target, lol) and since it's been hot this week we actually got to use it a couple times


And we also got Chloe a Table...table..ha so she would have a little place to color and play "muckers" (Chloe's word for Stickers)

Pig Races And Funnel Cakes- Jul 15

^^ she fell asleep with my mom while she watched her last week and she was afraid to move her into her bed..so she got her nap and I got to sit next to her on the floor for an hour to make sure she didn't fall, lol.

Busy week this week and another one on the horizon! Last weekend we had a jam packed schedule of events. We had our friend's daughters birthday party on Saturday which was held at the San Ramon Olympic Pool(connected to our former high school, Cal High) which has been totally re-done (of course) since we left there so many years ago. They had a HUGE and AWESOME water attraction which all the kids (including and especially Chloe) loved. I'm betting we will be back! Then Saturday night we decided to take Chloe to the fair in Pleasanton. Heather has been hounding me to go to the fair for like the last 5 years and somehow every year we don't make it. This year we went..on the last weekend it was running and it was fun! Not much Chloe could do in the way of rides but we walked around and visited all the animal stuff including a crazy petting zoo. Chloe is not afraid of animals..and she loves to chase them and pet them all the while exclaiming "mooooore!" That's really the only way we can get her to leave anything with animals is to tell her we are going to see "more" even if we really aren't. =)
