Runny Eggs! - Mar 30

In a couple of days two things will happen: Easter and equally as important in world history, MY BIRTHDAY.

As is tradition, this week we hard boiled some eggs and dyed them our favorite colors. I bought a new little kit but I forgot to buy vinegar so we ended up using probably the wrong kind of vinegar(and definitely not enough) and it seemed to cause a problem with dying the eggs. WHOOPS. Normally, we like to use the little transparent crayon the kit comes with and draw things on the eggs but no matter what we did, it would not show up once we dyed the eggs. The dye did weird things too. Anyway, it's still was more or less the same process and in the end, and they are still eggs. =)

Just a few photos of the egg dying eggstravaganza as Today marks the official first day of Chloe's spring break as well. Last week it was dumping rain and this week I have been wearing shorts all day, every day. Welcome to California.

St-Patrick's-Flash-Back, Friday! - Mar 23

Last weekend was Saint Patrick's day and Chloe was super excited to wear her green. The weather was threatening to dump rain all weekend but before the sky opened up completely, Heather and her mom took Chloe to the Saint Patrick's day event thing they had going on in downtown Dublin(California, not Ireland).LOL. Facebook decided to show me a few photos that apparently I posted 4 years ago on Saint Patrick's day so I thought it might be a fun opportunity to snap a few updated versions as I so often like to do. Please enjoy this brief trip down memory lane with miss Chloe. =)

Ice Skate Date! - Mar 16

This week has blessed us with multiple days of cold and rain. Apparently winter didn't get the memo that it's supposed to be Spring(soon). LOL. Last weekend after a week of earning points on her chore chart, Chloe decided to "cash in" for a trip to the ice skating rink. It was a Mommy & Chloe only trip and I received these photos via text message from Heather. =) More rain in the schedule coming this weekend..stay dry!

Space For Rent - Mar 9

Nothing to see here. Nope. It has been brought to my attention that my blog that is set up to email out new posts to a few people has not been doing that and those people just think I have been keeping true to what I said about not posting every week. This week, not much happening so I'll be testing out the email notification thing with this post. Catch yall later, do something fun and click back a year or 5 and check out some old posts. I do it all the time and quite frankly it's the the best thing about this blog(for me, anyway). =)

Dog And Pony Show! - Mar 2

Not a ton happening around here this week and last weekend Chloe was actually a little bit under the weather so even more reason to hang low key. Speaking of under the weather, this week we have been getting slapped around by rain and cold so I think it's safe to say our pretty cherry trees are on borrowed time. Good thing we got some snaps in while we could. =)

As I sometimes do, I had Chloe walk the dog and I brought my camera along for a few snaps. Not much else to report this week, stay dry and have a great weekend, folks~
