This week we have had almost spring like weather but you would never have guessed it was coming if you had spent the day with us on Sunday.
For Chloe's birthday my Mom got Chloe an outdoor ice skating lesson taught by a friend of her's that she used to work with at the Gym. Apparently during the holidays in downtown Walnut Creek they build a giant outdoor ice rink and people go there to...use it. We only had a few weekends available before it was to be taken down and between our schedules and the crazy weather happening we gambled on waiting until this(last) weekend to go. It actually turned out perfectly fine but it did rain pretty much morning to night, lol. Once we arrived Chloe strapped on her skates and off they went! Heather and Chloe have definitely gone ice skating before(a couple of times, actually) but this sort of thing does generally involve some percentage of falling. I have to say that I think Chloe only fell 1-1.5 times and it was by no means a dramatic event, thankfully. Chloe was a little intimidated at first but as soon as she got out there it was smiles and laughing the entire time.
I knew it would be. =)
We wrapped up there and retreated to a quick lunch at our local Panera and that was that. Just a few pics from the day to share. Have a great weekend, folks~
