Get it? Spell? Candy? Nevermind.
Well, welcome to November and that means that if you are reading this, Halloween has come and gone. This year marks another year that I had pretty much absolutely no part in curating. We might know from previous blog installments that I am not the foremost expert in all things Harry Potter(not even in the top 100). Chloe kind of went back and forth on what she wanted to be this year but at some point she decided on being Hermione Granger. If you're not familiar with that name then you officially know less about this Harry Potter stuff than I do. LOL.
Chloe was SUPER excited for Halloween this year. She was jazzed to go to school in her costume, she was jazzed to go around and trick or treat and she was jazzed to come home after school the day after and sort/count her haul. The funny/ironic/good thing about Chloe is that she will always ask to have a piece of candy here or there but I promise you(for the most part)this stuff is going to work with Heather for her co-workers to eat(or in the trash, eventually). I don't know if I would say she doesn't have a sweet tooth as much as I take pride in teaching her epic self control. If she has something, a little goes a long way. I've said it before but I've never seen another kid that will eat a sucker for 3 minutes and put it in a ziplock bag for later. It's always more the excitement of the action of trick or treating than the prize of the candy for her. Her dentist would be so proud.
Just a few photos to share this week of our usual Halloween adventures. I also just realized as I was writing this that I have an entirely separate memory card in another camera I forgot to download that has our pictures from the pumpkin patch. I guess tune in next week for a flash back post on that one. =)
Have a great weekend, folks~
