2nd Grade Is Awesome! - May 4

MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU.

It is unlikely this will be the only time you hear this reference today(if you are seeing this today, Friday, May 4th). I'm not sure when this became a thing, but Star Wars nerds, UNITE.

Anyway. As we roll into the last month of school Chloe's school had their annual "fun run" fundraiser run, thing. Something about pledging money for every lap the particular child runs. Chloe this year got to run together with all the 2nd and 3rd grade classes for approximately 30 minutes. Each time they completed a lap they were to get a bracelet and that is how they can tell how many laps you ran at the end. I believe Chloe told me she ended up running 15 laps and I was dang proud of her. Some of these kids are like marathon runners but Chloe definitely ran most of the time and I was not expecting that.

Just a few photos from the event as we roll that much closer to summer break. The neighborhood pools opened last weekend and you can believe that in mild 70ish degree weather Heather & Chloe went for a swim.

Crazy.
