I don't know if I mentioned this but for Chloe's 8th birthday a few weeks ago we got her a new(to her) bike this time with (I believe) 7 speeds. Chloe has been asking about a "gears bike" since she sees my bike and me switching gears plus she really didn't like the pedal brakes for whatever reason. In anticipation of a summer hopefully where we take a lot of bike rides, I found Chloe a next to new 2nd hand bike that should hopefully last her the next couple years. Her current bike we basically inherited from a neighbor that moved away and her first bike that I bought her we ended up donating it to the fire victims in Santa Rosa. Note to self, kids will go through 2 or 3 bikes as they grow so plan accordingly.
The last few weeks we have been having some unbelievable weather in the mid to upper 70s so definitely on more than one occasion a bike ride has been in order. Chloe and I have already been talking about our "cherry tree" which has not begun to bloom yet but I think any day now that will change. Just a few snaps from the week, have a great weekend, folks~
