Less than 24 hours before Halloween and Chloe decides she is going to change her entire costume. True story.
On Monday I actually went with a few friends to a car event all day and I got a text from Heather I didn't fully understand but something to the effect that Chloe wanted to change her costume. My response was essentially it's to late to change her costume but from there I figured I wasn't going to be home in time to say one way or the other and if she wanted to handle it, go for it. LOL.
Over the last few months Chloe has been really into the old Scooby-Doo cartoons and I guess she got the idea to put together a Daphne costume. Purple dress, pink tights, and a quick trip to Hobby Lobby with mom for some material to make a scarf and a headband and bam, DAPHNE! Heather thought I was going to be mad that she changed her costume but honestly, I was pretty impressed that they were able to pull off such a cool homemade costume using mostly stuff we already owned. =)
Halloween is always a crazy day for us. Heather gets off work and we basically rush out the door to go swing by both grandparents and then meet up with some friends so Chloe can go trick-or-treating with other kids. This year Chloe apparently graduated from a little candy bowl to a pillow case. I'm not sure where she got that idea from but she was pretty set on using a pillow case. Maybe she saw older kids doing that, I'm not sure. Either way, it was a good time and she definitely got more candy than any kid needs(or is going to be allowed to consume). =P Just some pics from our trip to the pumpkin patch and the events that took place on Halloween.
Have a great weekend, folks~
