Tradition. This has become one.
So I guess we are going on 5 years of visiting this one particular tree in our neighborhood and for the last 2 years now I have found a magical and secret grove of these trees that we have been calling cherry trees. I'm no expert, but I think last year we determined these are actually Japanese plum trees. Part of it was the fact that this tree in our neighborhood produced some fruit. When Chloe and I walked the dog every day, we would pick some and (eventually) eat them. They looked like cherries. They were about the size of cherries, but nope, they were plums. Chloe has been waiting a long time for this tree to produce its fruit. She is tall enough and brave enough that I assure you she will be climbing up this dang tree every day picking *ahem* plums.
These are just a few pics from our attempts this week. Feel free to have a click back the last few February's to see how things have changed. =p
Have a great weekend, folks.
