Believe it or not all of our cars are fairly old. Ironically, I just got the registration renewal and smog notice for my Element as we are winding down our 8th year of trouble free ownership. I love my Element. We brought Chloe home from the hospital in that car and I have taken her around almost everywhere with it. A very weird and slightly unconventional family car that has served us very well. It remains to be seen if we will continue to own the Element and release Heather's car or what she would like to do but for now we own 4 Honda vehicles and our parking situation isn't great. LOL.
Back when I bought my Element, the other car I considered was a (2007) Honda Civic Si sedan. I love my older (2000) Civic Si however it is certainly not practical and has always been a theft target so leaving it places is never a good idea. The Si Sedan made sense to me because it was a fun to drive, 4 door version of the car that I had and loved. A few years ago I started looking at them again after having a "non-modifiable" car for a long time the desire for something fun to drive (yet practical) started creeping back. And here we are.
Chloe..loves it. She loves my other Civic and I love taking her for rides in it. She loves now having her own door to enter and her own window to roll up and down. The car has a digital speedometer so if you are speeding you will have a 5 year old over your shoulder letting you know. =p
Without any further adieu, our new(ish) 2013 Honda Civic Si sedan in "Polished Metal Metallic"(color).
Have a great weekend, folks~
