As October draws to a close we apparently had one last opportunity to get in another "semi-annual" trip to Disneyland! I know, we just went a few months ago. Well, we have annual passes so when Heather can get off work, we're probably going. LOL. Well, Going to Disneyland in October has sort of been our thing even before Chloe was around. Since Chloe has been around, we have gone to Disneyland for their "Halloween time" since Chloe's first trip. Every year we also have made a point to get Chloe's silhouette portrait done so of course this year we add another one to our collection.
This trip to Disneyland Heather and I unanimously agree was our best trip so far. Heather challenged Chloe to a contest to see who could be the nicest for the entire trip and by golly if that didn't turn Chloe into a different kid. We were both...so pleasantly surprised! Her behavior was amazing, she listened every time we asked her to do something (or to stop doing something, lol) and did not cry or whine even once the entire trip! That, combined with near perfect weather and park attendance below average and short wait times for every ride and we could not have asked for a better couple days at the happiest place on earth. =)
Something new this trip for Chloe was an autograph book. We had discussed getting her one on previous trips but Heather pulled the trigger this time and Chloe...LOVED IT. It was really neat because it actually got her excited to visit Characters and once she got her first autograph, she was HOOKED. Not all characters can sign the books, like Sulley(from Monsters Inc.) for example has gigantic claw hands and cannot sign. Chloe, decided she still wanted his page for their picture saved so she thought of her own solution. She drew his picture for him. This kid is a freakin GENIUS.
Anyway, just a few more days spent at our favorite place and a few more pictures to prove we were there. There are a few photos that Chloe likes to take each time we go but I try to take different stuff every trip. OH! The first photo: Chloe popped another tooth out while we were in "Cars Land" having an ice cream. The tooth was mega loose and the replacement tooth was already growing in behind it and without much thought Chloe grabbed it and popped it out! Then she was able to enjoy her ice cream and soothe her gums, lol. Yeah, that's why we ate so much ice cream this trip. Chloe's gums. =)
