The decision for a 3 year old is easy but the first teenage boy that comes to this house is getting an entire bowl of candy. LOL
As promised, I did want to share a few more images from Halloween. Halloween fell on a Thursday and as luck would have it Chloe had school and I was scheduled to work in the classroom that day. The kids were instructed to come to school in costume and parents could stay for the first maybe fifteen minutes the kids did a "parade" around the back yard in their costumes. Then, in a flash they had the kids change out of their costumes and that was that. LOL. Actually, we set up various stations inside and out with games and fun things for the kids to do for the entire rest of the class. A crafty mom made some really neat snacks for the kids and generally all the kids had a blast..and NO CANDY! =)
That night, we got Chloe into her costume and made a few stops starting with our super nice neighbor, Diane. Our neighborhood has basically no kids and no reason anyone would trick or treat but Diane wanted to see Chloe and she was of course ready with a special treat just for her. She is such a nice lady and literally the luckiest we could have gotten to have a new neighbor move in. Then it was over to visit the grandparents before we met up with our friends to wander their neighborhood with all the kids. The night started and ended with me having a stomach ache and ended with the same thing but I figured I would tough it out so I could go with them trick or treating. I knew I would regret staying home more than going out, so away we went.
Have a great weekend, folks~
