This week instead of our regularly scheduled preschool program on Thursday the class had their first official "field trip". Basically, instead of going to school they organized a trip to a local pumpkin patch where the kids could do something fun together. When they first mentioned field trips I had no clue how they were going to work that all out. Turns out it just means everybody brings their own kid somewhere, lol. Part of the experience included a "hay ride" as well as a maze and a HUGE box filled with CORN that the kids could play in. Super weird but actually quite awesome. At the end, each kid got to pick out a pumpkin, a gourd, and a miniature corn thing to take home. A pumpkin patch the size of two football fields pushed together and probably 2 thousand pumpkins I had no idea how Chloe was going to pick the perfect one. She showed us. She literally walked up to a pumpkin, picked it up and put it in the wagon and that was that. Sometimes we swear this kid is not related to us because neither Heather or I can make a decision to save our lives. Chloe, most decisive person I have ever encountered. LOL.
And a little bit of a shout out just wanted to wish Heather's mom and Chloe's "Gramma Pardi" a very happy birthday!! Have a great weekend, folks!
