Chloe has never been big on watching tv shows or movies really with the exception of a brief moment when she wanted to watch Toy Story 3 over and over(after going to Disneyland). Even Sesame Street which is like a staple in any kids day she doesn't really care for. She loves Elmo of course but didn't want to watch any of the other parts of the show, lol. One morning I turned on the TV and on PBS (the same channel Sesame Street is on) was playing episodes of "Clifford The Big Red Dog" and Chloe loved it. They also have a show called "Clifford's Puppy Days" which she likes even more. Anyway, we don't watch it every day(although she asks to) but I was watching it with her last week and I happened to see a commercial for a special Clifford exhibit they were having at the Children's Discovery Museum and I knew immediately we had to go. I don't know if I have ever been to this place in my life but it's technically in Sausalito just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. Actually, it's right at the base of the bridge so you have a pretty cool view from almost anywhere in the place. In other words, it's not very close to where we live but what's a little a little adventure and frustration using a GPS taking you the long way through the city every once in a while, right? =)
We decided to go on Friday and it turned out to be the perfect day. Nice weather and almost no traffic going to and coming home from the city. It's a great place and I would totally recommend it to anyone with kids looking for something fun and interactive to do with their kids. Chloe LOVED the Clifford exhibit. LOVED IT. There were like 50 thousand other kids running around so as you can imagine it was a bit of chaos....but totally worth it. Here are some pics from our little adventure. Have a great weekend and enjoy~
