Yesterday was a whirl-wind as you might imagine. We are getting settled in and trying to get into a groove with the things we have to do every couple hours. We had our first visit with the pediatrician yesterday who checked Chloe over and said things were going well. She gained another ounce from the last time they weighed her the day before in the hospital so that's good. Apparently babies lose some weight the first few days of life and then gain it back but when you are a little bean like she was they don't want her to be down to far. Much unlike myself, gaining weight is the goal here. =p
The other day I spoke to someone on the phone (while we were still in the hospital) and they asked if we were getting enough sleep. My answer to that was, "what's sleep but time not spent awake!" so we are spending a lot of time awake. That was *to be expected* but I thought I would acknowledge all the people that told us to "get as much sleep as you can now" before she is born. That method did not work because we're still tired. I'm trying to figure out a way today to get Heather a good 5 hours of straight sleep as she seems to be getting the shorter end of the stick. We'll see what happens!
