Summer, week two. OVER!
Yesterday was the most important day of the week..Heather's Birthday!! Not just any old birthday, her 40th birthday! Now she's officially as old as I am. It has been pretty cool I must say that we have essentially been able to spend pretty much all of our adult "milestone" birthdays together starting all the way back to 18. I will always be able to remember the date that we graduated high school because the exact date was Heather's(18th) birthday. LOL. Now, 22 years later, here we are. CHLOE'S PARENTS. 40 years down, more than half of our lives spent together and I definitely look forward to seeing what the next 40 have in store. =)
Another busy full week of bowling with the occasional swim mixed in, quite similar to last week actually except the triple digit temperatures. UGH. This week, Chloe decided she wanted to try our luck in the claw machine at the bowling alley. On Monday she brought $.50 just to try one time and with the help of her old dad, we pulled on the first try! Tuesday she was feeling lucky again so another $.50 came along and once again with my calibrated eyeball and precision claw skills, we pulled again on the first try. Statistically, we are now due for about $20 worth of loss before we can win again. I think we used up all our luck for this week but, we'll re-visit again later to see if I'm right. =)
