This week my plan was just to snap a few photos to show off Chloe's new glasses. She got them a week or two ago but I don't think she has had them on in any of the recent photos I've posted. Chloe was super opposed to getting new lenses but the moment she tried on these frames she was like "I LIKE THESE". LOL. The funny thing is, no lie, we looked at the wall of frames and I saw this particular pair and thought they would look good and immediately Chloe points right at them without me saying anything. Chloe is the most unbelievably decisive human being I have ever encountered but similar to myself, when she sees what she wants, she knows right away. We looked at a few different pairs but it was no use, these were the ones.
It turned out, the following day we went to visit some friends and their daughter was wearing the exact same frames(from Costco). Weird. LOL. Anyway, like I said my plan was to just snap a few photos of Chloe with her new glasses but recently she has become very into Harry Potter. With Heather she has now read the entire first book(and are part way through the 2nd) and she finally was able to watch the first movie. She, at 8 years old, noted that the book was better than the movie and I'm not a Harry Potter person but I have heard that said many times by adults when talking about the movies. I'm pretty lost on the whole thing because the one time I tried to watch the movie years ago, I immediately fell asleep. It's unfortunate because now I have no clue what she is excited about with all this but, either way. Chloe collected a bunch of twigs and a big stick with the intent to make a broomstick. Her idea was to use some string and some glue..I can't explain the whole use of it however I am capable of making things so with the help of a few strategically placed zip ties, a broom is born. #dadlife.
Chloe came up with the plan that if I took a photo of her jumping with her broomstick that it would look like she was flying. She was right and her reaction was priceless. =)
Just a few pics of..whatever. Have a great weekend, folks~
