At my ripe old age of 36 I am starting to question the fact that there is an Easter bunny that kids can go to the mall and get a picture taken with. I have almost never seen a photo where the child was happy and smiling, they always look deathly afraid or are crying because let's face it, they are getting their picture taken with a GIGANTIC BUNNY. Heather & Chloe were at the mall and when they came home Chloe was telling me about seeing the kids taking pictures with the Easter bunny. I asked her if she would want her picture with "him"(her?) and she replied, "Yeah!" I guess Chloe of all kids probably would but as someone who doesn't quite "get it", I won't be pressing the issue. LOL
Sunday was Easter and to Chloe that meant it was time to hunt eggs. Due to some poor weather, our egg hunts were both held indoors and within well timed exterior hunts to avoid the rain. Chloe, doesn't care. If eggs are hidden, she will happily look for them..especially if she thinks they are filled with goodies. =) We spent the day with both families and Chloe told everyone stories about how our Easter bunny ate all the gold fish crackers she left him and replaced the goldfish with candy. I don't know if that's what the Easter bunny is supposed to do but hey, THAT'S WHAT OURS DID. LOL. Here are some photos from Easter which we spent visiting our families..and eating. =)
