You know you are from San Ramon when...you know what the wind festival is and you go there every year. Welcome to year 3 for us going to the San Ramon Art & Wind Festival. Every year on Memorial Day weekend for two days Central park is transformed with lots of vendors selling things, rides, kite flying, etc. Basically, something for you to do with the family and tons of people flock to it every year. This year we went and made the usual rounds. Chloe of course immediately wanted to do some of the kiddie carnival rides. They were a little on the sad side and basically they all just went around in circles but even a kid that just went to Disneyland completely enjoys slow and squeaky carnival rides, too. LOL.
They had a free face painting booth for kids and Chloe was excited for that. When the lady finished Chloe seemed distraught and after a few minutes was telling us that she wanted it off! LOL. Apparently we found the only kid that hated having their face painted. She smiled at first but as soon as we got back to the car she asked for me to get a baby wipe and clean it off. This kid! As you might recall, a few blog posts back I took some pictures flying her kite (which she loves to do) but it's basically falling apart. On our way out we found a vendor selling all sorts of kites and things like that so we let Chloe pick out a new one. What do you think she picked? Stay tuned for the answer! =)
