The Unassisted Sit Up - Jul 23

So this week has brought some changes. Last Friday Chloe had her "6 month check up" where they weigh and measure her as well as the dreaded shots. She's growing great and while I can't remember her exact weight it was almost 17lbs which is just "average" somewhere around the 50th percentile but for length she is in the 90-something percentile. She's doing great. Then came the shots and thankfully it wasn't as bad as I had built it up to be in my head. I physically felt sick while we were waiting for the lady to come in. Chloe definitely cried but to our surprise she was able to be calmed down pretty quickly which was not what I expected at all.

Of course for the weekend she was a little out of sorts but mostly just tired and she slept a ton. On top of that I think it was Sunday Chloe managed to jam my finger in her mouth and suddenly...there was a tooth! Not like a full blown tooth but a sharp nub breaking through on the bottom at long last. People have been accusing her of teething for weeks and she's finally cutting her first teeth. They say babies will typically match up to whenever the parents got their first teeth. Heather's mom looked up in her baby book that Heather's first teeth came in at 6 months too so apparently that's true.
