Stamps On Your Feet - Apr 27

This week my mom texted me and let me know there was an opportunity to get Chloe into one of the gymnastic classes she teaches and this weeks theme was Toy Story. I took Chloe to the class not knowing how she was going to handle it because after all we did have her birthday party there and her only experience was being able to run around. To my surprise, she actually was pretty good at following the directions and playing with most of the equipment they are supposed to as part of the class. There were a few things she was particularly excited to play with but for the most part she did well playing with the other kids. At the end of the class they gave out little coloring papers and the teacher Miss Patty put rubber stamps on Chloe's feet so for the rest of the day she would tell me "Chloe has stamps on her feet!" Thursday morning while I was getting her dressed she told me "Mommy wash the stamps off your feet" and it took me a minute to figure out what she was talking about until I realized she meant Heather washed them off during her bath, lol. Should We Go To The Park Today?! - Apr 20

Every day this week Chloe wakes up, talks to herself in her crib for like 10 minutes and asks me while I'm getting her dressed..."should we go to the park today? Maybe later?! OK!" ha-ha. She asks us questions in the same manner we ask her..and she not only asks the questions but gives the answers. "Should we watch Cars today? OK!" ha-ha. It's almost as funny as the fact that she still sometimes refers to herself in the 3rd person..."Chloe do it!" "Chloe needs a blankie!". The weather this week has been pretty awesome so we were finally able to get out of the house. Here are just a few pics of the Chlo-monster having some fun. Have a great weekend~

The Egg Hunt - Apr 13

This year has been a huge change over the year prior in terms of what Chloe can do and what she understands when it comes to holidays that kids can enjoy. Halloween, Christmas, and now Easter which all obviously have an adult significance but kids definitely get the good fortune to enjoy these holidays for a very kid friendly reason..candy & presents. LOL.

For the first time this year we were able to actually go through and dye some eggs with Chloe which she got a tremendous kick out of. We have been eating pink and blue hard boiled eggs now for a week. =) We spent Easter with both of our families so Chloe got to enjoy two separate Easter egg hunts! I can remember last year she literally played with the empty plastic eggs for weeks after Easter so I knew she would have a great time cracking open the eggs this year to see what was inside. Most kids probably get a ton of candy, Chloe doesn't know what candy is really so she got things like goldfish crackers and money for her little piggy bank(was my favorite as a kid to get money, go figure). =)
