This year has been a huge change over the year prior in terms of what Chloe can do and what she understands when it comes to holidays that kids can enjoy. Halloween, Christmas, and now Easter which all obviously have an adult significance but kids definitely get the good fortune to enjoy these holidays for a very kid friendly reason..candy & presents. LOL.
For the first time this year we were able to actually go through and dye some eggs with Chloe which she got a tremendous kick out of. We have been eating pink and blue hard boiled eggs now for a week. =) We spent Easter with both of our families so Chloe got to enjoy two separate Easter egg hunts! I can remember last year she literally played with the empty plastic eggs for weeks after Easter so I knew she would have a great time cracking open the eggs this year to see what was inside. Most kids probably get a ton of candy, Chloe doesn't know what candy is really so she got things like goldfish crackers and money for her little piggy bank(was my favorite as a kid to get money, go figure). =)
