Tuesday, Schmoozday - Oct 1

HAHA! ^^what the heck? =)
Little miss Chloe is just a week away from being 9 months old. Before Chloe was born I would sometimes spend my Tuesdays hanging out with our friend Shannon. She's probably sick to death of me at this point but I'll often trek over there to hang out (and maybe help maintain sanity?) while she's watching her daughter Hailey and sister Sheryl's kids, Riley and Anthony. It always gave me a chance to hang out and spend time with everybody as well as prepare for my upcoming "daddy duties" before Chloe was here.
This Tuesday I found myself over there again (surprise!) and this time I brought my camera along to capture some of the fun. Chloe LOVES it there. New toys, some older friends to study and a doting Auntie Shannon and Auntie Sheryl(and sometimes Auntie Amy if she stops by). =) Here are some pics from this week. Riley and Chloe are EXACTLY 6 months apart (to the day) so it's always interesting to see them together. Have a great weekend!

In this pic, Chloe was falling asleep sitting up so I video taped her nodding off with the Minnie Mouse in her arms...then laid her back and within 2 seconds..this.

Let's Go Oakland - Sept 23

A few new things to share this week. So we stopped swaddling Chloe about a month ago and putting her into these "sleep sack" things that my mom made and that has been working out nicely. Chloe, with her new found arm freedom we started finding her in all kinds of funny positions. Most notably now she likes to lay on her side. She somehow figured out that by grabbing on to the bumpers in the crib she can turn to her side but the funniest part is she literally holds on to it while she sleeps. So strange. We've now found her twice on her stomach in the morning so she apparently also knows how to do that now too.
Also, we finally gave up on the bath in the sink tub and moved into the full size bath tub. Luckily, Chloe loves the water so she's happy no matter what you do. =)

8 Months - Sept 10

So on Wednesday it was the 8th which marks Chloe's 8 month birthday. I think I told Heather during month 6 I didn't feel like Chloe had changed that much but to discuss it further and to look back at her pictures, I couldn't be more wrong. Same goes for month 7. She learns things every day at an alarming rate and we think she may have gone through a growth spurt as she definitely seems longer and many outfits that fit her before are getting to small. She's been eating up a storm with things like (pureed) bananas, green beans, sweet potato, peaches, etc. She's been pooping up and equally disgusting storm as well which is..well disgusting. =0 The days of the non smelly diaper are long since over.
So, on to some pics from this week. We busted out a little ride/push car thing my Aunt Michelle got for Chloe around the time when she was born and we thought she might start being able to play with it. She's definitely not big enough to use it unsupervised but she really likes it! Thanks Aunt Michelle =)

Look What I Can (hair) Do! - Sept 3

Chloe is almost 8 months old. LOL. Unbelievable. Our friends just found out they will be having a little girl next year who will be almost exactly 1 year apart from Chloe. It's trippy to think back like it really wasn't all that long ago when Chloe wasn't here yet and we were going through all the same things they are about to go through. It's amazing how quickly it goes by when it's not you. I feel like Heather's pregnancy took FOREVER and here our friends are already at the half way point and it seems like she just found out she was preggo. Exciting times. =)
Chloe, has begun to sprout like a leaf. It's like her brain kicked into high gear or something. All at once instead of chucking her bottle on the ground she actually holds it in her mouth. She is also able to spin it around put it back in if she loses grip. It's amazing to watch her work something out. She looooooves to flip the light switch next to the changing pad. She rolls over in half a second flat and she loves to babble all sorts of nonsense. Her hair also seems to have doubled in length the last week or two. Blink your eyes, you might miss it. Pretty busy week again but an impromptu photo shoot turned into some pictures that I really love of our little miss. Enjoy~
