Happy Halloween!
Yesterday was Chloe's day to celebrate Halloween at her school and by doing so, the children were allowed to come to school in their costumes(if only for a little while). I thought for sure there were going to be half a dozen "Elsa's" running around but to my total shock, Chloe and one other little girl were the only ones! The cutest thing one of the parents came up to me after and said their other (younger) child came up to them, pulled on their shirt and said "Mommy, I SAW ELSA!" and pointed to Chloe. Cutest thing I have ever heard. I think the little girl might have been 2 or something but it's insane to me to think that kids not only cannot seemingly distinguish the difference between an animated being and a person in real life but 2 year olds thing a 5 year old is Elsa! LOL. The parade route consisted of a walk basically down a path in the back yard with parents lining either side. Camera photos were snapping photos and video as the kids walked by chanting "happy halloween" over and over and over and over and over again. =) It was cute and then right after that we had to remove the costume and take them home. lol.
The kids were treated to carnival style little games, face painting, cookie decorating and other fun stuff. I grabbed a few photos of what I could but certainly I will get better photos of Chloe with her full costume getup. I know it comes as no surprise to see that she is going to be one of the most hardcore and serious Queen Elsa's around. Tonight, we will try to get in some trick or treating with friends as per usual however we may be thwarted by the weather. Rain or shine, we are going trick or treating! This kid has way to much time and (our) money invested in this costume to give up for a little bit of cloud water.
Have a great weekend~
Brian
