Insert pictures of Chloe on saint Patrick's day here. I am away from my main computer for a few days and I can't get to the pics I took this week with my actual camera, so I'm going to substitute a shot I took with my camera phone. This is Chloe's favorite trick to stress me out when we go to the park. :-) She has an uncanny ability to see what other kids are doing and immediately copy it. The other day this kid went down the slide head first, 2 minutes later guess who face first on the slide? Yeah.
Anyway, I will update this post with the intended pics in a few days so stay tuned! Have a great weekend folks!!
A song that will now be stuck in your head all day, even if you don't actually listen to it just because you read it somewhere. For us, we have it stuck in our heads for an entirely different reason. At the Toy Story on ice show there was a segment of the show where Jessie & Woody skated around with a bunch of other cowboys and cowgirls and they played this song and Chloe totally was dancing around. It was cute. Eventually, that turned into me pulling it up on YouTube and now we have to watch it every night before she goes to bed. She dances and jumps around, it's adorable. Worth having this song stuck in our heads all day..I think. =)
"SEE BUZZ SLIPING AROUND!" "Where the army guys?" "He's flying the UMBRELLA!" "Lotsa Barbies!" "SEE THE ALIENS!"
These are just some of the things we would hear repeatedly as we watched Chloe's favorite Toy Story characters...on ICE! LOL. It was actually really neat. We had no idea if Chloe would even sit still for more than 30 seconds but we figured it would be an arena full of families and kids so if things went poorly, nobody would probably notice. =) Chloe was actually very interested in the show and we had exactly zero meltdowns so I call that a huge win! It was a fun show and it was great to get to share in the experience with little Chloe. If the show continues to run, I'm sure we'll go see it again!
Unfortunately I looked up ahead of time and it said that cameras were not allowed in the stadium for the show..but of course when we got there they hardly checked our bags and everybody had cameras! I brought our little point and shoot, but it sucks so pictures were not great. Here are a few pics from the show, and another trip with some friends to the park. Have a great weekend!
This week we were invited to play for a few hours with some friends at a nearby park and Chloe had a blast. She's finally getting big enough(and has enough courage) to get up and around most of the stuff on the little kids part of the park. She does not however have a tremendous sense of danger..so when she gets near the edge of the platform I think she would quite easily fall off without realising how far down it really is. We're working on it but hey it's all part of growin' up, right? =)
Anyway, here are some pics from our adventure out to the park this week and a few other random moments. Have a great weekend, enjoy!
Every morning this is the face we get to wake up to. Not a bad deal, if you ask me.
Even though it's February, the trees have been blooming and flowers are everywhere. Almost every night when Heather gets home we all walk down to the "duck pond"(Chloe is pushed in her car) and all the way there Chloe says "I see the pretty flowers!" "Chloe smell them!" and then she breathes in deeply through her nose as if she is able to smell them from 20 feet away. The other day while waiting for Heather to get home so we could go on our walk, we spend some time in our neighbors yard where they have the most gigantic tree that is really neat looking 2 times a year: Fall, and right now. Enjoy some random pics, and have a great weekend!

I stuck Chloe in this tree and snapped a few pics real fast..maybe didn't turn out like I thought but interestingly enough the tree looks like a giant hand holding her up, lol =)
