Rain, Rain, Go Away - Mar 25

This week we have been mostly stuck inside the house due to lack of sunshine and abundance of wind and rain. If I wanted to live in a place that rained every day, I'd pack up my stuff and move to Oregon with Ali. Hi ALi. =) I suppose I can announce this here since she already made the Facebook blast but Ali and her husband Josh are expecting their own little one this year! If you need any advice or anything feel free to ask me..or google is because that's where most of my questions get answered, lol. Good times are ahead...just you wait and see!
So for a change this week the pictures I'm going to post were 89% taken by Heather. I'm not going to say WHICH ones but let's just say..the good ones. Have a great weekend!

Hard Headed - Mar 18

Yep, we had our first..er..second casualty as a side effect of Chloe being a pedestrian. Chloe has always been a cautious walker..but this week she found out that she can move faster..and the faster she moves the faster objects arrive into your head when you trip while going down the hallway. That's the lesson she learned this week. Also, it was St. Patrick's day. LOL. Our lesson learned this week: a 14 month old does not want you to hold an ice pack on her forehead..no matter how big the lump.

Two More Teeth - Mar 11

This week Chloe had two more teeth make an appearance in her mouth. We thought these teeth were just about ready to come in like a month ago..but they both cut through pretty much the same time. Random but so far all the teeth she has came through in pairs. I couldn't really get a great picture but it's the two lower teeth just outside the two she already has in the middle. Chloe was sick the other week complete with runny/stuffy nose and this week we all have been a little off..so we really spent the week at home. I found a few pics from last week I'm going to mix in since I forgot to post them before. 14 months, officially! Yikes.

New thing she started doing..around her naptime instead of having to convince her it's time..she just wants to cuddle up and lay with you for a few minutes and then..sleep! It's pretty nice actually and I can just drop her off in her crib



She'll wear the hat if she's distracted..a bit small at this point =(

The Many Faces Of Chloe - Mar 4

As the last week of Chloe being 13 months draws to a close I can look back at how much has changed in just the last 4 weeks. Really the entire game has changed (again) now that Chloe can walk. I took her to the park today with a few friends and their kids and for the first time Chloe could wander around and explore. One thing I knew right away to watch out for is that Chloe definitely does not understand the concept of a step down or any type of threshold that she could fall from so her freedom is still very supervised. Also, she tried to eat some tan bark, lol. Still, it's fun to see her wandering around with her little hands up in the air. =)
